A playfully handcrafted stole in pristine white has been embellished with hand-embroidered Dachshunds dressed in frisky striped coats. An addition of a few crafty yet whimsical motifs adds an element of lightheartedness to the stole, while the minimal base keeps it versatile. Ideal for those who love pets, the stole symbolizes loyalty and cheerfulness. Truely, this piece carries warmth, joy, and a hint of mischief.

About the Craft
Sozni embroidery is one of Kashmir’s finest needlework traditions. Using thin needles and delicate threads, artisans manually create intricate motifs that range from florals to symbolic patterns. The work is slow and meticulous, often requiring months or even years for completion.
An inch of dense Sozni work can take up to four months. Patterns are first hand stamped onto the Pashmina and then carefully embroidered with colours chosen to enhance the design.
Pashmina making itself is a multi-step craft. The fibre is collected from the changthangi goat in Ladakh, then cleaned, sorted and hand spun by women artisans. Spinning enough fibre for one stole may take months, as only a small amount can be produced each day.
The yarn is then woven on wooden looms by skilled weavers and later handed to specialists for embroidery or further embellishment. Each stole represents dedication, precision and a rich cultural legacy.

Pashmina Care
Dry clean is the safest method for maintaining your Pashmina.
If hand washing, use cold water and a mild Pashmina or cashmere shampoo. Do not wring or twist. Press water out gently.
Dry by placing the stole between two clean towels and rolling lightly. Air dry flat and avoid direct sunlight.
Store folded in a clean, dry place. Wrap in muslin and keep with neem or cedar. With proper care, your Pashmina will last for generations.

Before You Receive Your Pashmina
Authentic Pashmina is handcrafted. Slight irregularities in weave or embroidery reflect the artisan’s work and should be valued as marks of authenticity, not flaws.
Minor colour variations may appear due to screen differences. While images are captured carefully, the final shade may vary slightly on your device.
