A masterpiece of patience, devotion and heritage, this olive green Pashmina shawl celebrates the grandeur of Sozni embroidery at its finest. Crafted in the opulent Jamawar style, the embroidery is so profuse and intricate that the base almost disappears beneath its beauty. Every paisley and floral motif is hand-worked by master artisans who have inherited this skill over generations. Their needles move with practiced rhythm, building layers of pastel pinks, blues and lilacs across the earthy green canvas. Soft, warm and breathtakingly detailed, this is not just a shawl — it is an heirloom, a collector’s treasure and a living testament to Kashmir’s artistic legacy. A piece created to be cherished, gifted and remembered.

About the Craft
Sozni is one of Kashmir’s most delicate and revered needlework traditions. Using the thinnest needles and fine, carefully selected threads, artisans hand-embroider floral and abstract motifs with unmatched precision. The process is slow, mindful and incredibly demanding — an inch-long border alone can take four months of work. Designs are first stamped lightly onto the Pashmina, after which artisans embroider over them, choosing colour combinations that enhance the natural elegance of the fabric.
Alongside this embroidery tradition runs the centuries-old craft of Pashmina making. The journey begins in Ladakh, where the down fibre of the Changthangi goat is collected, cleaned and sorted. Women artisans then spend months spinning the fibre by hand, producing the delicate yarn needed for weaving. Skilled weavers mount this yarn onto wooden handlooms to create the feather-light, warm Pashmina base. Only then does the shawl reach master embroiderers who transform it into a work of art.
Together, Pashmina weaving and Sozni embroidery create heirloom pieces treasured across the world.

Pashmina Care
Always dry clean your pure Pashmina for the safest care. If hand washing, use cold water and Pashmina or Cashmere shampoo. Do not wring or twist. Gently squeeze out water. Place between two towels and roll to absorb moisture. Air dry flat in shade.
Store your Pashmina wrapped in a muslin cloth with neem or cedar. With proper care, it will remain a keepsake for generations.

Before you receive your Pashmina, Please Note:
Authentic Pashmina is woven and embroidered manually. Natural irregularities are signs of hand craftsmanship and add character to your unique piece.
Slight colour variations may occur due to screen differences. We strive for accuracy, and appreciate your understanding.
