Product Description

A rich teal Pashmina stole comes alive with cheerful butterfly motifs embroidered across its plush base. Handwoven on traditional wooden looms by Kashmiri artisans, the stole carries days of dedicated craftsmanship.
Fine Sozni threads, worked with slim needles, add touches of colour and playfulness as butterflies in shades of blue and brown dance across the surface.
Elegant yet expressive, this stole elevates both everyday looks and special occasion outfits. More than an accessory, it is a wearable artwork celebrating heritage and imagination.

What is Sozni Embroidery?

Sozni embroidery is one of Kashmir’s most refined needlework traditions, known for its delicate floral, abstract and geometric motifs. Worked entirely by hand on pure Pashmina using thin needles and fine threads, it demands remarkable patience and precision.
Designs are first stamped onto the fabric, after which artisans slowly embroider over them, choosing colours thoughtfully to bring each motif to life.
The process is time-intensive an inch-wide embroidered border can take up to four months.
Alongside this, Pashmina making itself involves its own meticulous journey: fibre collection in Ladakh, hand-spinning by women artisans, and handweaving on wooden looms before any embroidery begins. Together, these crafts create heirloom-quality pieces cherished worldwide.

Pashmina Care

Dry clean your Pashmina to maintain its softness and longevity. If hand washing, use cold water with a gentle Pashmina/Cashmere shampoo. Gently press out water without twisting.
Dry by rolling the stole between two clean towels, then lay flat to air dry away from direct sunlight.
Store in a cool, dry place. Wrap in a muslin cloth and keep with neem or cedar for natural protection. With proper care, a pure Pashmina lasts for generations.

Before You Receive Your Pashmina

Authentic Pashmina is manually woven and embroidered, so slight irregularities in weave or needlework are natural and reflect true craftsmanship. These are not flaws but marks of authenticity that make each piece unique.
Minor colour variations may occur due to screen differences. While we aim to present the closest match, the actual shade may appear slightly different on your device.
