Unlike bulk commercial dyeing, hand dyeing requires gentle handling, multiple rinses and careful drying to maintain Pashmina’s natural softness and sheen.
Before dyeing begins, the Pashmina fibre undergoes its long artisanal journey: collected in Ladakh, hand-spun over months by women artisans, and then handwoven on wooden looms.

Pashmina Care

Dry clean your Pashmina for best maintenance. If hand washing, use cold water with a gentle Pashmina/Cashmere shampoo. Press out water gently without twisting.
Dry by rolling the stole between two clean towels, then lay flat to air dry away from sunlight.
Store in a cool, dry place. Wrap in muslin and keep neem or cedar for natural protection. With the right care, a pure Pashmina becomes an heirloom for years to come.
