Capturing the intensity of a sunset fading into night, this bright and fiery stole evokes the feeling of the pleasant summer sun. An intense contrast is produced by the ombre combination of deep red, dazzling orange, and enigmatic black, which exudes strength, passion, and warmth in every fold. Being an authentic work of love, the stole has been handwoven for days by the magical hands of Kashmiri artisans. Each fragile strand of this exquisite Pashmina stole is painstakingly woven, making it a unique treasure. Because of the careful ombre dyeing, the colors blend together to provide a natural gradient across the sky.

About the Craft
Ombre Dyeing is a delicate artistic process where a pure Pashmina is hand dyed in a gradient of multiple colours. A breathtaking transition between two shades is achieved in this stole with the help of careful immersion and hand-dipping techniques. This way, one color gently fades into the other, giving the Ombre look. To ensure seamless merging free of harsh lines, each step must be done precisely.
In contrast to machine dyeing, the ombré effect on Pashmina is produced manually by skillful artisans who use their eyes and hands to regulate the saturation, depth, and balance of shades. Pashmina's inherent softness allows the dyes to be elegantly absorbed, creating an opulent piece that is equal parts fashion and art.
Every ombré stole is slightly unique, a hallmark of the artisan’s artistic mind, making it a truly one-of-a-kind statement of style.
The art of Pashmina making involves a series of meticulous steps. It all starts in Ladakh where the down fibre of the changthangi goat is collected, cleaned, and sorted. The fibre is then hand spun by womenfolk of the valley - which is the most painstaking labour of love. To spin fibre for one Pashmina stole, a single artisan takes atleast 2 months, with just a handful of fibre spun per day. Even this takes them 8-10 hours everyday. Spinning is followed by weaving, where men mount the delicate spun fibre onto wooden handlooms and create heavenly soft and lightweight Pashmina stoles. These are later handed over to specialists for further embellishing like dyeing, embroidery, or prints

Pashmina Care
Always dry clean your pure Pashmina for the safest care. But if hand washing, use cold water and Pashmina/Cashmere shampoo. Do not wring or twist. Always squeeze the water out gently. Dry your Pashmina by placing it between two clean towels and rolling them together. Air dry, do not hang. Do not place it under direct sunlight for drying.
Store your Pashmina at a clean, dry place. To keep it safe from moths, fold it neatly, wrap it in a muslin cloth, and store it with neem or cedar. Pashmina will last for generations if handled with care.

Before you receive your Pashmina, Please Note:
Authentic Pashmina is woven and embroidered by artisans manually. There can be irregularities in weave or embroidery showing the meticulous manual work of artisans. Note that these are not flaws but marks of authenticity that make your piece truly one of a kind
Slight variations in colour may appear due to different screen resolutions. While we strive to present images as true to life as possible, the actual shade may look slightly different on your device. We appreciate your understanding
