Description

Soft, delicate, and endlessly versatile, this baby pink Pashmina muffler embodies understated elegance. Handwoven by skilled Kashmiri artisans, it feels feather-light yet offers unmatched warmth. Its calming pink hue makes it suitable for every season—brightening winter layers or adding a romantic touch to spring evenings. A true classic that carries the quiet grace of centuries-old craftsmanship.

About the Craft

The solid baby pink shade is achieved through traditional hand-dyeing in small batches. Unlike mass dyeing, this artisanal process involves careful handling, repeated rinsing, and slow drying to preserve both softness and natural sheen. Each muffler is the result of devotion, patience, and mastery.

Pashmina making begins in Ladakh with the down fibre of the Changthangi goat, which is cleaned, sorted, and spun by hand. Spinning a single muffler can take up to a month, with artisans working 8–10 hours daily to prepare just a small amount of fibre. Once woven on handlooms, the fabric is passed to specialists for natural dyeing, embroidery, or finishing.

Pashmina Care

Always dry clean your Pashmina. If hand washing, use cold water and a Pashmina/Cashmere shampoo. Do not wring or twist; gently press out excess water. Roll in clean towels to absorb moisture and air dry flat, away from sunlight.

Store folded in a muslin cloth with neem or cedar for protection from moths. With careful handling, your Pashmina will last for generations.

Before you receive your Pashmina, Please Note:

Authentic Pashmina is fully handcrafted. Subtle irregularities in weave or dyeing are marks of artisan skill and proof of authenticity. Colour may vary slightly due to screen settings, though every effort is made to capture its true shade.
