Bathed in a tender pink, this Mulberry stole feels like a whisper of Spring season in Kashmir, where flowers bloom in every corner. The gleaming silk base carries the organic artistry of eco printing where fallen marigold petals, rose leaves and chamomile fragments are pressed and steamed against the base to leave their natural imprints and hues. The result is a natural scatter of floral and leafy imprints on silk, telling the story of earth, craft and care. Soft in its texture, fluid in its movements and handloom made by artisans without machines, the stole embodies slow and sustainable luxury. Perfect for those who seek elegance with intention, the stole is takes days to finish, combining style with the rhythm of nature

What is Mulberry Silk
World famous for its finesse and purity, Mulberry silk is renowned for its unmatched sheen, buttery smooth texture and strength.  Woven on traditional handlooms, the delicate threads come from the cocoons of mulberry-fed silkworms - a process that produces naturally lustrous and soft fibre. Mulberry silk is gentle on the skin, hypoallergenic and breathable that doesnt choke the skin - ideal for all year round. At Pashmsutra, we only provide authentic handloom silk, with no added synthetics or blends. This ensures the stoles remain pure, safe and heirloom worthy.

Process of Bundle Dyeing
The process of bundle dyeing is a complicated one and starts with gathering seasonal flowers and leaves. We source ours respectfully from temples after daily offerings. These flowers and leaves are placed carefully on handwoven Mulberry Silk scarves and stoles and the fabric is rolled into tight bundles. This bundle is later steamed to allow the natural pigments to seep into the fabric.
No two pieces are ever the same, the colours, shapes and imprints depend on nature's whim. Each stole is a canvas, painted by flowers, rain, sunlight, just nature itself. We use only discarded or naturally fallen flowers, our process honours sustainability and the ethical essence of dealing with nature, ensuring nothing goes to waste.

Mulberry Silk Care
Your Mulberry Silk stole is extra delicate and requires gentle handling to preserve its beauty and longevity. Opt for gentle dry cleaning to maintain the purity of silk. Do not expose to direct sunlight as it may fade the organic floral print. Avoid using harsh soaps or detergents. Iron using a low silk setting or use a protective cloth over the stole. Keep the stole stored in a cool, dry place. Wrap it in a muslin cloth and avoid plastic bags. Keep away from moisture and perfume. Dampness alters its natural colour.

Before you receive your Silk Stole, Please Note:
Your Mulberry Silk Stole has been prepared on a handloom. Small irregularities or light variations in tone are a mark of its handcrafted beauty and natural dyeing process. Additionally, variations in colour may appear due to different screen resolutions. While we strive to present images as true to life as possible, the actual shade may look slightly different on your device. We appreciate your understanding. "
