Product Description
Lightweight like a whisper and enchanting like the first spring blossoms, this Mulberry Silk stole is nature captured in fabric. Handcrafted using the traditional eco printing technique, it reflects the fleeting beauty of real flowers, bundle dyed into soft ombré hues of rose pink and ivory. The delicate floral impressions, made with seasonal marigold petals, scatter across the base like sunlight on petals, creating a gentle, radiant charm.
Luxuriously smooth and lustrous, this Mulberry Silk stole drapes effortlessly around the shoulders or neck, adding a touch of grace to any outfit. It carries both the tenderness of flowers and the dedication of artisans who spend days weaving this masterpiece on a handloom.

What is Mulberry Silk?
World-renowned for its purity and finesse, Mulberry Silk stands apart for its natural sheen, buttery smooth texture, and strength. Woven on traditional handlooms, its delicate threads come from cocoons of mulberry-fed silkworms, producing a naturally lustrous and soft fiber.
Mulberry Silk is gentle on the skin, hypoallergenic, and breathable, making it ideal for year-round comfort. At Pashmsutra, we ensure each piece is crafted from 100% authentic handloom silk with no synthetics or blends, keeping the fabric pure, safe, and heirloom-worthy.

Process of Bundle Dyeing
The process of bundle dyeing begins with collecting seasonal flowers and leaves, respectfully sourced from temples after daily offerings. These are carefully arranged on handwoven Mulberry Silk stoles and scarves before being tightly rolled into bundles and steamed, allowing natural pigments to infuse into the fibers.
No two pieces are ever identical. The colors, shapes, and imprints depend entirely on nature’s rhythm, making each stole a one-of-a-kind canvas painted by flowers, rain, and sunlight. At Pashmsutra, only discarded or naturally fallen flora are used, honoring sustainability and nature’s balance.

Mulberry Silk Care
Your Mulberry Silk stole is delicate and should be handled with utmost care. Opt for gentle dry cleaning to preserve its natural sheen and floral prints. Avoid direct sunlight, as it may fade the organic dyes. Do not use harsh soaps or detergents. Iron on a low silk setting or place a protective cloth on top while ironing.
Store the stole in a cool, dry place wrapped in a muslin cloth, away from moisture and perfume. Avoid plastic bags, as dampness can alter its natural color.

Before You Receive Your Silk Stole
Your Mulberry Silk stole has been handcrafted on a traditional handloom. Small irregularities or tonal variations are natural marks of its artisanal beauty and dyeing process.
Minor color differences may occur due to screen resolution. While we strive to present images as true to life as possible, the actual shade may vary slightly in person.
