Like the gentle bloom of spring woven into fabric, this ombre Pashmina shawl blends soft pink and pastel blue in a beautifully calming gradient. The colours shift seamlessly, creating a refreshing yet elegant palette that flatters every season. Handwoven by Kashmiri craftsmen, each piece reflects patience, heritage and meticulous skill. The dyeing is done in small batches to ensure no two shawls are ever identical, giving every creation its own personality. Feather-soft, lightweight and timeless, the shawl drapes effortlessly and adds serene charm to both daytime outfits and evening ensembles.

About the Craft
Ombre dyeing is a delicate artistic technique where pure Pashmina is hand dyed to achieve a smooth, seamless colour transition. Through slow immersion and precise hand-dipping, each hue melts gently into the next, free of harsh boundaries. Unlike machine dyeing, artisans rely solely on sight and touch to balance saturation, depth and tone. Pashmina’s natural softness absorbs dyes beautifully, resulting in a piece that feels both luxurious and painterly. Each ombre shawl is slightly different — a unique expression of the artisan’s vision.

The journey of Pashmina begins in Ladakh, where the down fibre of the Changthangi goat is collected, cleaned and sorted. Women artisans then hand spin the fibre — a painstaking process that takes nearly two months for a single shawl, with only a few grams spun each day. After spinning, men weave the yarn on wooden handlooms to create the signature featherlight, warm fabric. The shawl is then passed on to specialists for dyeing, embroidery or finishing touches.

Pashmina Care
Always dry clean your pure Pashmina. If hand washing, use cold water and Pashmina/Cashmere shampoo. Do not wring or twist. Press out excess water gently by placing the shawl between clean towels and rolling them together. Air dry flat, away from direct sunlight. Do not hang.
Store your Pashmina wrapped in muslin with neem or cedar for protection from moths. With mindful care, your Pashmina will last for generations.

Before You Receive Your Pashmina, Please Note
Authentic Pashmina is handcrafted. Slight irregularities in weave or dye reflect manual artistry — these are not flaws but marks of authenticity, making every piece one of a kind.
Slight colour variations may occur due to screen settings. While we strive for accuracy, the actual shade may appear slightly different on your device.
