Description
This elegant stole features a refreshing teal base adorned with delicate pink and red floral Kani motifs that bring together playfulness and sophistication. The striking palla blooms showcase Kashmiri artistry at its finest, while striped pink and red ends add a lively contrast. Featherlight, warm, and exquisitely draped, the stole bridges timeless heritage with modern versatility, making it suitable for festive occasions, formal gatherings, or casual styling. Each piece is the result of weeks of meticulous hand-weaving, celebrating patience, tradition, and craftsmanship.

About the Craft
Kani weaving is a centuries-old tapestry-style technique from Kashmir, globally admired for its intricacy and heritage. The name originates from the wooden sticks called “kanis” that replace the shuttle in weaving. Each kani carries a different coloured thread, and artisans interlace them with precision to create florals, paisleys, and Mughal-inspired gardens.

The process follows a coded script known as talim, which guides weavers line by line, much like reading music. It requires exceptional skill, focus, and time. Depending on design complexity, a single Kani Pashmina stole can take several months to complete, making each piece an embodiment of conscious, sustainable fashion.

Pashmina Care
Always dry clean your pure Pashmina for the safest care. If hand washing, use cold water and Pashmina/Cashmere shampoo. Do not wring or twist; gently press out the water. Lay between two towels, roll to absorb moisture, and air dry flat, away from sunlight.

Store in a clean, dry place. Fold neatly, wrap in muslin, and keep with neem or cedar for protection. With care, your Pashmina will last for generations as a timeless heirloom.

Before you receive your Pashmina, Please Note
Each authentic Pashmina is woven and embroidered manually, so slight irregularities in weave or motifs are natural signs of its handmade origin, not flaws. These variations make every piece unique.

Colours may appear slightly different across screens. While we strive for accuracy, the actual shade may vary slightly on your device.
