Description:

Enter the world of classic elegance with this Grey Solid Pashmina Muffler, handwoven to perfection. Incredibly versatile owing to its neutral tone, the muffler goes well with both professional and informal settings. Artisans have used the finest Ladakhi Pashmina fibre for a subtle charm that comes from its simplicity and feathery light texture. The muffler will wrap you in unparalleled warmth without adding weight, while the subdued grey hue lends understated elegance. Wear it firmly around the neck or loosely over the shoulders to create a statement of sustainable luxury and minimalism.

About the Craft

Every inch of this pure Pashmina muffler tells a tale of perseverance and tradition. To maintain depth, vibrancy, and authenticity, the traditional dyeing method is used to create the solid colour in small batches. Unlike commercial techniques, Pashmina dyeing by hand requires deft handling, multiple rinses, and hours of meticulous drying to preserve the fabric's softness and natural sheen. This is more than simply a muffler; it is a piece of sustainable fashion woven with devotion, with each tint and thread celebrating Kashmiri artistry.

The art of Pashmina making involves a series of meticulous steps. It begins in Ladakh where the down fibre of the Changthangi goat is collected, cleaned, and sorted. Women artisans then hand spin the fibre—a painstaking labour of love. To spin enough fibre for one Pashmina muffler, a single artisan takes at least a month, with just a handful of fibre spun per day, working 8–10 hours daily. Spinning is followed by weaving, where men mount the delicate spun fibre onto wooden handlooms to create soft and lightweight Pashmina mufflers. These are later passed to specialists for finishing through dyeing, embroidery, or prints.

Pashmina Care

Always dry clean your pure Pashmina for the safest care. If hand washing, use cold water and Pashmina/Cashmere shampoo. Do not wring or twist; gently press the water out. Roll between two clean towels to remove excess moisture and air dry flat, away from direct sunlight.

Store your Pashmina in a clean, dry place. Fold it neatly, wrap it in a muslin cloth, and store it with neem or cedar to protect from moths. With proper care, your Pashmina will last for generations.

Before you receive your Pashmina, Please Note:

Authentic Pashmina is woven and embroidered manually by artisans. Slight irregularities in weave or embroidery are natural signs of handcraft, not flaws. These details make your piece truly one of a kind.

Slight variations in colour may appear due to different screen resolutions. While we strive to present images as true to life as possible, the actual shade may differ slightly on your device.
