Product Description

A meeting point of timeless elegance and simplicity, this handwoven grey Pashmina muffler reflects quiet luxury. Crafted by local Kashmiri artisans from the finest Ladakhi fibre, it embodies the softness, warmth, and authenticity that define true Pashmina.
The calm grey tone highlights the purity of the weave and its naturally lustrous texture. Designed to be unisex, this versatile piece pairs seamlessly with both formal and casual wear. Feather-light yet incredibly warm, it is a refined wardrobe essential for those who value understated sophistication and artisanal heritage.

About the Craft

Every inch of this pure Pashmina muffler speaks of patience, dedication, and craft. The solid grey shade is created through traditional small-batch dyeing—a method that preserves depth and softness while ensuring lasting vibrancy. Hand dyeing demands precision and care, involving multiple rinses and long hours of natural drying to maintain the fibre’s sheen and delicate feel.
The journey begins in Ladakh, where the down fibre of the Changthangi goat is collected, cleaned, and hand spun by women artisans. It takes nearly a month to spin enough yarn for a single muffler, with artisans working 8 to 10 hours daily. The spun fibre is then woven on wooden handlooms by skilled men who transform the fine threads into a soft, lightweight fabric. After weaving, specialists complete the process through dyeing or finishing, creating a timeless piece that carries the soul of Kashmiri craftsmanship.

Pashmina Care

Always dry clean your pure Pashmina for the safest care. If hand washing, use cold water and mild Pashmina or Cashmere shampoo. Do not wring or twist; gently press to remove water. Lay flat between two towels, roll to absorb moisture, and air dry away from direct sunlight.
Store your Pashmina in a clean, dry place wrapped in muslin cloth with neem or cedar wood. With proper care, your Pashmina will stay soft, warm, and beautiful for years to come.

Before You Receive Your Pashmina

Each Pashmsutra muffler is handmade, making every piece distinctive and authentic. Subtle variations in weave or tone are natural marks of handcrafting, not imperfections.
Slight colour variations may occur due to screen settings. While every effort is made to show shades accurately, the actual tone may vary slightly in person.
