Delicately romantic yet refined, a handcrafted grey and pink ombré shawl is truly a delicate balance of elegance and charm. The gradient shifts gracefully from muted grey tones into gentle blush pink - creating a canvas that feels both contemporary and timeless. Scattered across the surface are subtle floral dye impressions, resembling blossoms emerging through morning mist, adding an artisanal touch to its serene palette. Luxuriously soft, the shawl drapes effortlessly, offering warmth without weight. Its versatile tones make it perfect to pair with neutral ensembles for understated sophistication or with vibrant outfits for a playful contrast. Thoughtfully crafted, it is an ideal choice for conscious buyers who value beauty, sustainability, and heritage craftsmanship.
About the Craft
Ombre Dyeing is a delicate artistic process where a pure Pashmina is hand dyed in a gradient of multiple colours. A breathtaking transition between two shades is achieved in this stole with the help of careful immersion and hand-dipping techniques. This way, one color gently fades into the other, giving the Ombre look. To ensure seamless merging free of harsh lines, each step must be done precisely. In contrast to machine dyeing, the ombré effect on Pashmina is produced manually by skillful artisans who use their eyes and hands to regulate the saturation, depth, and balance of shades. Pashmina's inherent softness allows the dyes to be elegantly absorbed, creating an opulent piece that is equal parts fashion and art. Every ombré stole is slightly unique, a hallmark of the artisan’s artistic mind, making it a truly one-of-a-kind statement of style
In the process of eco-printing, nature itself becomes the artist. The process begins with fresh flowers collected from temples, carefully cleaned and prepared by skilled artisans. Each petal is gently placed on the fabric, which is then tightly rolled and coiled into a spiral before undergoing a full day of steaming. When the fabric is finally unwrapped, delicate floral imprints emerge, creating patterns that are as organic as they are unique. No chemicals are used - only flowers, steam, and the patience of traditional craft - making this shawl both eco-friendly and timelessly beautiful.
Pashmina Care
Always dry clean your pure Pashmina for the safest care. But if hand washing, use cold water and Pashmina/Cashmere shampoo. Do not wring or twist. Always squeeze the water out gently. Dry your Pashmina by placing it between two clean towels and rolling them together. Air dry, do not hang. Do not place it under direct sunlight for drying.
Store your Pashmina at a clean, dry place. To keep it safe from moths, fold it neatly, wrap it in a muslin cloth, and store it with neem or cedar. Pashmina will last for generations if handled with care.
Before you receive your Pashmina, Please Note:
Authentic Pashmina is woven and embroidered by artisans manually. There can be irregularities in weave or embroidery showing the meticulous manual work of artisans. Note that these are not flaws but marks of authenticity that make your piece truly one of a kind
Slight variations in colour may appear due to different screen resolutions. While we strive to present images as true to life as possible, the actual shade may look slightly different on your device. We appreciate your understanding
