Description

This handwoven blue Pashmina muffler is crafted from the softest Ladakhi fibres, offering quiet elegance in a timeless solid shade. Its serene hue makes it equally suitable for formal occasions and casual layering. The subtle handwoven texture adds depth and character, while the simplicity of the design ensures it never goes out of style. Whether draped loosely or wrapped snugly, this muffler brings warmth and sophistication.

About the Craft

The pure solid blue shade is achieved through traditional hand-dyeing in small batches, a process that demands care and patience. Each piece is rinsed, dyed, and dried meticulously to retain softness and natural sheen—something mass production cannot replicate.

The journey begins in Ladakh, where the fine undercoat of the Changthangi goat is collected, cleaned, and hand-spun by women artisans. Spinning enough fibre for one muffler takes nearly a month, with artisans dedicating long hours each day. Once ready, the yarn is handwoven on wooden looms in Kashmir, then finished by specialists who may dye or embellish it further.

Pashmina Care

Always dry clean your Pashmina. If hand washing, use cold water and Pashmina/Cashmere shampoo. Do not wring or twist; gently press water out. Roll in clean towels and air dry flat, away from sunlight.

Store folded in a muslin cloth with neem or cedar for moth protection. With mindful care, your Pashmina will last for generations.

Before you receive your Pashmina, Please Note:

Authentic Pashmina is fully handcrafted, so slight irregularities in weave or dyeing may appear these are marks of authenticity, not flaws. Colour may also vary slightly depending on screen settings.
