About the Craft
Every inch of this pure Pashmina stole embodies dedication, heritage and fine craftsmanship. To achieve its uniform, soothing pink shade, artisans use traditional small-batch dyeing methods that preserve depth, vibrancy and the fibre’s natural softness. Unlike commercial dyeing, hand dyeing demands precise handling, multiple rinses and slow drying, ensuring the fabric retains its sheen and delicate texture. This stole is not just an accessory — it is sustainable luxury woven with devotion, where each tint and thread honours centuries of Kashmiri artistry.

The creation of Pashmina begins in Ladakh, where the down fibre of the Changthangi goat is collected, cleaned and sorted. Women artisans hand spin the fibre — a painstaking process that takes nearly two months for a single stole, with only a little fibre spun each day. Skilled weavers then handloom the yarn into an airy, warm stole. After weaving, it is passed on to specialists for dyeing or finishing.

Pashmina Care
Always dry clean your pure Pashmina. If hand washing, use cold water and Pashmina/Cashmere shampoo. Avoid wringing or twisting. Press out excess water gently by placing the stole between clean towels and rolling them together. Air dry flat, away from sunlight. Do not hang.
Store your Pashmina in a clean, dry place, wrapped in muslin with neem or cedar for protection. With careful handling, your Pashmina will last for generations.
