**About the Craft**

_Chashme Bulbul_, meaning “the eye of the nightingale,” is one of Kashmir’s most cherished weaving styles. The pattern is distinguished by tiny diamond motifs created through a complex _broken point twill_ weave. Each pattern emerges through a rhythmic sequence of hand movements on the loom, requiring precision and patience from the artisan.  
The result is a fabric that’s not only soft and warm but also textured with a subtle sheen that catches the eye without overpowering. Every _Chashme Bulbul_ piece celebrates the deep-rooted artistry of Kashmiri weaving a harmony of beauty, skill, and timeless tradition.

**Pashmina Care**

Always dry clean your pure Pashmina for the safest care. If hand washing, use cold water and a mild Pashmina or Cashmere shampoo. Do not wring or twist; gently press to remove excess water. Lay flat between two towels, roll to absorb moisture, and air dry away from sunlight.  
Store your Pashmina in a clean, dry place wrapped in a muslin cloth with neem or cedar wood. When cared for properly, it will remain soft and exquisite for generations.
