**Product Description**

For those who love carrying a touch of tradition everywhere they go, this handcrafted ombré Pashmina shawl glows in radiant shades of pink and red. The artisan has chosen contemporary hues that blend heritage with modern style, making it an essential addition to today’s accessory wardrobe.
Light, soft, and airy, this shawl offers gentle warmth and versatility. Perfect for formal meetings, casual outings, or as an elegant gift, it’s as timeless as it is functional. A luxurious expression of art and craftsmanship, this piece embodies comfort, grace, and individuality.

**About the Craft**

Ombre dyeing on Pashmina is a refined art that demands precision and patience. Through careful hand-dipping and immersion, artisans achieve a seamless gradient where one colour fades beautifully into another. Each step is guided by the artisan’s intuition, ensuring the perfect balance of tone, depth, and flow.
Unlike machine dyeing, this technique relies entirely on skilled human hands. The natural texture of Pashmina absorbs colour with a soft, lustrous finish, making every piece slightly unique and inherently artistic.

The creation of a Pashmina begins in Ladakh, where the fine down fibre of the Changthangi goat is gathered and hand spun by women artisans. It can take nearly two months to spin enough yarn for one shawl. The threads are then woven by men on traditional wooden handlooms, resulting in an incredibly lightweight yet warm fabric. After weaving, specialists hand-dye and finish the shawl, completing a process that blends heritage and skill into a single, timeless masterpiece.

**Pashmina Care**

Always dry clean your Pashmina for the best results. If hand washing, use cold water and a mild Pashmina or Cashmere shampoo. Avoid wringing or twisting; instead, press gently to remove water. Lay flat between two towels, roll to absorb moisture, and air dry away from sunlight.
Store your Pashmina in a cool, dry place wrapped in a muslin cloth with neem or cedar wood. With proper care, it will remain soft, beautiful, and wearable for generations.

**Before You Receive Your Pashmina**

Each Pashmsutra piece is handmade, making every shawl truly one of a kind. Slight irregularities in weave or colour are part of its authenticity, reflecting the artisan’s craftsmanship rather than flaws.
Minor variations in colour may occur due to screen settings. While every effort is made to present shades accurately, actual tones may appear slightly different in person.
